The Healing Qi Institute

The Healing Qi Institute, formerly a branch of
the International Institute of Medical Qigong,
was founded with the sole mission of making Medical
Qigong instruction available to everyone - professional
or lay person alike. As a school dedicated to the dissemination
of Medical Qigong Therapy, we offer both One-Day Seminar
Intensives for those with an interest but with limited
time, and more long-term Courses
that cover the subject matter in greater depth and detail
leading to certification.

About
Medical Qigong
Medical
Qigong is a form of Chinese Energetic Medicine and is
one of the four foundational schools of Traditional
Chinese Medicine. Qi in this context is translated
to mean "Life Force Energy" and Gong is translated to
mean "Acquired Skill."
Medical Qigong therapy and prescriptions combine the
use of breathwork with individual physical movements,
creative visualization, and perceptual intention. The
primary goal is to purge toxic emotions from within
the body's tissues, eliminate energetic stagnations,
as well as strengthen and balance the internal organs
and energetic fields.

qualifications in Medical Qigong at three levels -Practitioner,
