Thank
you for your interest in our Masters program. Students
interested in the Master of Medical Qigong Program
may elect to complete the program in 4 years after completing
the basic A and B Introductory classes.The Medical Qigong
program follows the outline established in the clinical
textbook "Chinese Medical Qigong Therapy: A
Comprehensive Clinical Text." This program
is established and maintains the same clinical protocols
as established by the Peoples Republic of China (Hai
Dian University, Medical Qigong College, Beijing China).
Students wishing to complete the M.M.Q. program may
participate in 12 intensive Medical Qigong training
programs, which complete the M.M.Q. requirements in
a period of only 2 1/2 years. The Medical Qigong
intensive seminars are 5 days long, with reading
requirements, oral and practical examinations, and certification
given at the end of each seminar. The cost of each
intensive seminar is $1,200.00
The Medical Qigong Level 1 class begins in February
of each year, and the next series of seminars will continue
every other month, progressing through April (Level
2), June (Level 3), Aug. (Level 4), Oct. (Level 5),
etc.
In order to qualify for a Medical Qigong Practitioner
(M.Q.P.) certification, the student must complete
4 Medical Qigong Intensive seminars (Levels 1-4), and
have acquired a total of 72 clinical hours.
In order to qualify for a Medical Qigong Therapist
(M.Q.T.) certification, the student must complete
8 Medical Qigong Intensive seminars (Levels 1-8) and
have acquired a total of 132 clinical hours.
To obtain a Master of Medical Qigong (M.M.Q.) certification,
the student must complete the entire contents of all
12 Medical Qigong Intensive seminars (Levels 1-12),
have verification of 240 Clinical hours, and have completed
all T.C.M. and Western Medicine Requirements. Currently,
there are no prerequisites for qualifying for the various
programs. All professionals (Medical Doctors, Psychotherapists,
Chiropractors, Acupuncturists, Nurses, Massage Therapists
and other Qigong practitioners), as well as lay persons
are welcome.
